With the emergence of COVID-19, there has been a rise in discrimination and hate crimes against Americans Asians— both online and offline. Research shows that experiences of racial discrimination can lead to variety of negative mental and physical health outcomes. Dr. Thu T. Nguyen explains how to use people-first language to reduce stigma and discourage discrimination.
